Description:

The programme in French at UCD is the largest in Ireland, with a long-established international reputation for research and teaching excellence. Yet, despite the large number of staff and their wide range of their interests, the programme retains many of the best features of small programmes: close contact with lecturers and small class sizes. Our programme for the MA by course-work and minor thesis reflects our commitment to postgraduate studies and our belief that many students will find the combination of advanced course-work and personal research in the one-year MA rewarding and beneficial. The language of instruction is French or English although most readings are in French.
